From the manufacturer: About Us: Our story begins in 1959, when Sam Rosenberg wanted to have his own successful business before retiring. After experiencing a few failed start-ups in his adulthood, he finally found success as a traveling salesman of general merchandise in the 1950s. At the age of 59, he established the S. Rosenberg Christmas Company, importing Christmas and Easter novelties and dolls from Japan.
In April 1963, Stanley Geller bought the business from his father-in-law, renaming it Funworld, Easter Unlimited. He traveled to Japan on propeller planes for buying trips, developing strong relationships with factories there. He sold goods by traveling across the USA in a station wagon filled with samples, from Minneapolis to Miami, Boston to Bentonville, New York to New Orleans, and everywhere in between.
Although life was tough, the business grew and grew with the help of many people. In 1981, the third generation joined the company.
